Name:  Moses

Photographer Notes:  Let it grow Moses. I had the chance to photograph him just before his annual sheering.  His heavy, piebald, wool coat was long and I assume, very hot.  Consequently, Moses really enjoyed the cool air conditioning and refreshing beverages in the studio that day.  The Jacob sheep takes its name from the story told in the Old Testament of how Jacob became a selective breeder of piebald sheep.  No one knows exactly how old Moses is, but based on his namesake, I assume he’ll live to around 120 (in sheep’s years of course).
