Photographer Notes: Being in a studio with a big cat off leash is an incredible experience. The size and presence of a big cat is tangible, so powerful, and commands respect. Time flies but at the same time, stands still. Tuareg was a fierce, vocal lioness and would ‘speak’ or chuff at us during the shoot. She was a performer.
