Photographer Notes: Most of the time for me, a portrait is about the eyes and face but when I caught a glimpse of Poppy’s wingspan, I felt compelled to create a portrait that was focused more on shape, color and texture and less about a facial expression. This has become one of my most unique pieces of Snowy Owl artwork. Take flight Poppy!
