Lily was as lovely as the flower-- fair and delicate with her petaled ears and sky blue eyes. Much like a bloom though, she didn’t have the ability to see her own beauty. Blind, deaf and epileptic, Lily is perhaps the most powerful example of the way our dogs persevere in the face of trials. And, true to their happy nature, you would have never known her challenges— they were nestled far below her gratefulness to be alive and to be loved.
