American Saddlebred Horse No. 5
Name: Mystery
Photographer Notes: Albert Einstein once said that mystery is the source of all true art and science. As I found myself looking into the eyes of this incredible animal, I realized I was seeing both. Mystery was truly an art form with his statuesque stance and chestnut coat dappled in black. But equally so, he embodied the wonders of science. I couldn’t help but notice a galactic sparkle in his left eye—from glaucoma, I later learned—and how so many unspoken wonders seemed to live within it.
