Bevo XV on Black (2022)

$0.00

What an honor it was to photograph the University of Texas mascot, Bevo XV, when he was a short-horned calf in 2016. At that time, I thought how great it would be if I had the opportunity to come back and photograph him after his horns grew into true Longhorns. Fast forward almost 6 years later, I had the extraordinary experience of creating two new portraits of Bevo XV. My intention was to create portraits aesthetically consistent with the original ones I shot in 2016. Simple, striking, and powerful. His horns have grown into the quintessential Longhorns, almost perfectly symmetrical and in line with the University of Texas trademark known so well.

It’s an honor to be present these portraits as part of my fine art collection. As of this time, I am the only photographer who has had the opportunity to photograph Bevo XV under the studio lights that showcase him in all his might.
