Black Bull

Name:  Wayne Crosby

Photographer notes:  Wayne Crosby fit us, in his schedule. If it’s not obvious, cows are one of my favorite subjects.  And this portrait of the cantankerous Wayne Crosby was my first in the series of the black collection and still remains well in demand.  Some animals I prefer to be pristine and clean, others I prefer natural to their environment.  Prior to the shoot, Wayne Crosby spent time in the pasture kicking up dust, chomping on hay, and chasing after some pretty little heifers.  We created a mobile set in the big red barn and were able to capture a handful of frames before he ran out on us.  Dairy Cows, Steers, and Heifers are usually docile.  Bulls, not so much.
