Ellie
Shiba Inu
I really enjoy photographing middle-aged dogs. There is such a settledness in them, a shameless confidence in who they are and an established trust for the world around them. Shiba Inus are especially known for their independence and 6-year-old Ellie had not come up short in that department. She insisted on changing things up every few minutes and got a bit bored if we didn’t. We did our best to comply and, in return, Ellie made sure to keep things interesting for us on set too… with frequent, surprise-nudges to our backsides. Hello to you too, Ellie.
