Bucking Rodeo Bull No. 2

$0.00

Name: Titan

Photographer Notes: Nothing sends a cold panic through your blood quite like staring a bull in the face. Titan was by far one of the most intimidating animals I’ve ever stood in front of. He was caked in black mud, with his cavernous, onyx eyes fixed on mine, and I could feel a shake in my fingers as they hovered over the camera’s trigger. There are many reasons why bulls can be aggressive; anything from fear to stress to spikes in testosterone can trigger an uptick in their unpredictable behavior. We always work within the safest of standards (I shot this portrait through a fence), but the truth is there’s no amount of safety measures that could ever fully relieve the instinctual fear a human feels when they are at the mercy of a Titan.
