Brexit
Borzoi
Sweet-faced Brexit was not without an equal amount of strength and mysterious wisdom-- like a young wizard in the emerald hills of a faraway place. I, admittedly, could not look at her without thinking about the Lord of the Rings character, Gandalf. A tall, commanding figure, yet one where a sense of warmth and safety abound. I, also admittedly, found myself searching for quotes from our heroic fictional friend and, what I found was, they all truly reflected the sage insights that I imagine our furry companions have as well. I will leave you with one that especially resonated with me: “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” None of us has infinite time, but may we all learn to spend it more like our dogs do-- with an unwavering appreciation for what it is and what it gives.
