George

$0.00

American Hairless Terrier

Aside from a small strip of eyebrows, George was entirely hairless. But don’t let that birthday suit fool you-- he’s not merely all fun and games. This impressive pup was the first American Hairless Terrier to win an award at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show. He has also been trained to recognize specific symptoms of a medical condition in his owner and helps to normalize her days and provide the kind of quiet comfort that only a dog can. There are moments when I think to myself, “If only these amazing animals knew how much they enriched our lives.” But, perhaps that’s wrong. Perhaps they do know, and simply have no need for the recognition that’s due to them.
