John Mule No. 1

$0.00

Name:  Milo

Photographer Notes:  While Milo might be a smartass, he’s no Ass.  So let’s clarify what a Mule is.  A mule is the offspring of a male Donkey (Jackass) and a female Horse (Mare).  A mule has the athletic ability of a horse and the intelligence of a donkey.  And yes, the ears of a donkey.  They are a kind hardworking breed that has been around for millennia. They are thought to be the first manmade crossbreeds.  For my horse portraits, I would almost always choose an image where both ears where forward but it felt fitting to do something a little different with Milo.  The cross of his ears makes the perfect X shape with his head.  I think it also shows his intelligence.  He’s listening to you and at the same time eavesdropping on the table behind him.
