Mars
Belgian Malinois
Mars was a bit of a perfectionist. He arrived friendly and focused, with his head held high. The way someone does when they already know they are the best one for the job. To deny a Malinois the ability to work or complete his task, is to deny him a bit of his identity. I found myself relating to that. I, too, tend to enjoy a continued challenge in life and thrive off a drive and desire for what’s next. Throughout the shoot, Mars’ eyes remained sharp and intent, his form agile and activated for a moment’s notice. And, don’t tell him I told you this, but it soon became clear that he had indeed perfected the art of posing.
