Name: Quesa The Dilla
Photographer notes: Quesa the Dilla. What else could you name an armadillo in Texas, right? Quesa came into the shoot pretty dirty and dusty, you know because armadillos live underground. But I wanted a clean shot of ole 'dilla so after a lukewarm bath in tap water she turned out nice and shiny. We met Dilla through the one and only Sparky Sparks, expert Armadillo handler and race organizer. Quesa the Dilla, and in fact, all 'Dillas in North America are nine banded Armadillos.
