Penguin No. 2
Name: Kowalski
Photographer Notes: Who doesn’t like a penguin named Kowalski? African Penguins are sometimes referred to as Black Footed Penguins or Jackass Penguins (for their loud Donkey-like call). This penguin, Kowalski, was quite the performer in studio. He waddled around, gobbled up fish, talked a lot, and very occasionally would puff his small feathers out like so many birds do. One thing that is interesting about Penguins is that they truly smell like fish. I guess the old adage, you are what you eat, holds true for them.
