All is well, when Dexter is around. Having learned that he spends much of his time working with children and the elderly, I was not surprised at all by his gentle demeanor. What I didn’t expect though, was the inexplicable emotional connection I would share with him. Dexter has a way of making you feel very known, very seen-- like an old, wise grandfather who invites you to sit and talk for hours, while he just listens.
