Photographer Notes: This Merle is a Squirrel. Ole Merle was much more relaxed on set than I expected. After sniffing around the tabletop we quickly became comfortable. So much, in fact he demanded craft services. Craft services for a Squirrel are typically, wait for it… nuts. But not just any nuts. Merle requested shelled, unsalted, pistachios. And boy did it make him happy. He chowed down so much we shot him with pistachio in hand. If there’s such a thing as the classic pose for a squirrel, this my friends is it.
